CLICK ON THE TABS TO NAVIGATE. I was raised in New Jersey where I took up tennis at the age of 5. After I dropped it, I started playing again when I was 8 years old and from
then on have been training to play professionally. I have been noticed by many coaches and told about my potential to play on the WTA tour.
Other than that I'm a senior in high school and a national eco-ambassador for The Weather Channel. I love traveling, reading, making or looking
at art, watching movies, listening to music, and all that other good stuff.

It's been WAY too long. I feel like evertime I post on here, I start my message with that line. Oh well, so I guess I should've mentioned in ohh..i don't know, late june, that i moved to California! If you read a few posts back I wrote a memoir about finding out about that whole tennis pro thing, so that's why I've come here...to fulfill that. I guess you can say its been going pretty well, and I'm finally going to MVHS (senior year!! whattttt?! what happened to the time?), which is pretty sick. Finally going to what can be considered a REAL high school (complete with a football team and all that other good stuff high schools should have), but still with the crazy nerdiness and rigorous academics of mcnair. It's a bit strange because a bunch of people found out that I moved here to train for tennis and I guess it spread so now I get random kids walking up to me on campus (YES THERE'S A CAMPUS!!! just like the schools on the disney channel--which I hate haha) asking me if I'm the girl that moved here to play tennis. And for lack of a better response all I can say to them is..."haha yeaaa..." This sometimes follows by the question: "Do you play for the team here?" and my response to that is "No." (I hate high school tennis, too much cheating, I only did it for 3 years because I became attached to the girls on the team--with the exception of 2. cough cough) Then I can only hope that they don't get the wrong idea and think that I think I'm too good for the team (which btw is ranked #1 in the state of CA...now thats insane!). I don't want to sound overly flattered, I mean I haven't even gone pro yet, I still have so much to improve before I can get to that level. It strange tho, I mean being on the WTA/ATP tour must be crazy, like the amount of kids I get asking me that question (why i moved here) x A LOT. hah. The school newspaper (which is as thick as the jersey journal andlooks better than it--how embarrassing! It has apparently won national awards too! this school just keeps getting better and better) was going to do a feature article on me for the sports section, but it got scrapped last min due to space issues. Actually the sports ed said he wasn't allowed to tell me why...what's the big secret!? (haha i guess I'm not that important. JUST KIDDING!). It might get picked up in the online version of the paper (LOL WHAT?! ONLINE VERSION OF A SCHOOL NEWSPAPER!?...this stuff is pretty legit.) if the sports editor decides to write about it, which means I'll have to be interviewed once again. If he chooses to, hopefully it'll go better this time and he'll have enough info and ask me better questions to write a substantial article. Speaking of journalism, Mr. O' Shaughnessey, my journalism teacher from last year (OH GOOD GOD! haha) was diagnosed with colon cancer over the summer and is getting treatment right now. Apparently it got to the point where he was in danger of dying, but thankfully he didn't. That class was really an eye opener, I can't thank him enough. I hope the treatments work!! keeping my fingers crossed. Other than that, senior year has been okay to me so far, I was accepted into CSF (california scholarship federation) and NHS (National Honor Society) ..i realized that notation should have been switched but I'm too lazy to change it and this is MY blog, so to heck with it. I've been loaded with homework, which I guess was expected since I'm taking 4 APs this year. I've adjusted really quickly to the school atmosphere here, and oh man, one of the best parts...no more business formal dresscode!! The meaning of being a teenager exists here!!...ahha to a certain extent. Life here is awesome so far, I honestly wish it was easier to move here earlier....haha well obviously! I feel like I had A LOT more to write about, but I'm kinda falling asleep and can't remember half of it. Usually when I start one of these things I have a million thoughts running through my head that I want to write about and I'll start writing about one and stop in the middle because I'll remember something else. It's a terrible habit, haha but I guess it makes the posts more interesting in a way. Chaos can be good sometimes. (see like 3 sentences ago this post should've ended with some sort of farewell, but it obviously didn't! oh me and my tangents) I'm running on 4.5 hours of sleep (the only reason I stayed awake in school today was because I was running on a rhodiola tablet) and it's definitely time to go to bed. It's 11:39 here. AHH! Goodnight.
